NATIONAL URBAN LEAGUE MOURNS THE LOSS OF TRUSTEE CAROL JACKSON
NEW YORK, (November 9, 2017) -- The Urban League Movement is grieving the loss of National Urban League Trustee Carol Jackson, who passed away October 27.
“Carol was a passionate leader who devoted her life to creating opportunity and serving others,” National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial said. “She was an ardent supporter of the Urban League and she will be sorely missed.”
Jackson, who was Vice President of Government and Public Affairs for Macy’s, Inc., served on the National Urban League Board of Trustees’ Affiliate Committee, Committee on Trustees and Governance, Programs Committee and was the Western Regional Trustee.
“Carol truly embodied the National Urban League’s mission of empowering communities and changing lives,” Morial said. “Our prayers are with her family and friends.”
